Cold Stone Creamery will be holding its 8th Annual World’s Largest Ice Cream social on Thursday, September 24, at all Triad Cold Stone locations from 5p-8p. Donations received Thursday will go directly to Make-A-Wish. If you make a donation, you will receive a 3 oz. sample of Jack’s Creation served out of a ready-to-love pan in a Like It™ Cup. Jack is a wish child who came up with his own creation (sweet cream ice cream mixed with brownies, and rainbow sprinkles, and topped with caramel).

Dear TRIAD,
My family was given a trip on Make*A*Wish, with our son Drake, to Disney World in Florida. For those of you that don’t know us and for those of you who do I am attaching a video of our trip (please watch below). It was such an incredible experience to be able to travel with ALL of Drake’s medical equipment, his personal nurse and have every detail taken care of including ALL expenses! If it weren’t for MAW, we never would have risked or had the courage to take Drake on such a journey!
It was the first time Drake traveled on a plane, his first time seeing Mickey with all his friends and his first time seeing, touching, swimming and even kissing a dolphin. I can’t begin to explain what this trip meant to our family and how greatly we appreciated it. Please, if you can, take the time to help the cause, enjoy a free scoop of ice-cream and make a donation in honor of Drake and the Naylor family.
