What is better than sitting in your own home enjoying a cup of coffee with a friend? Sitting in a 100 year old buliding that use to be the Sterling Hotel in Madison, enjoying that same cup of coffee with a friend! Not only will you find a great cup-of-Joe, you’ll get that cozy welome feel of being in a place that truly cares about their customers. I stayed all morning last week to catch-up on some over due work on their FREE Wi-Fi.

I enjoyed a fresh made Apple Turn-Over with my cup of coffee. They offer a light fair for breakfast , but DRCH also has Belgium waffles to order… I have all intentions of ordering on my next morning jaunt to Madison.

The atmosphere is cozy and quaint with plenty of seating for all your buddies {untill the lunch crowd hits}. DRCH has recently expanded to have enough seating for the lunch rush. For lunch, they have an array of salads, soups, sandwiches, panini, wraps and pizza.  In addition, most of what they buy is organic and local grown {yeah!}.

You can tell the owner, Kathy Hawkins, loves this place as much as I think you will! They have live music on Fiday and Saturday night such as Clues and Jazz. Check-out the calender of event at www.shoprockinghamcounty.com

Oh yeah, most important… what did I have to drink? Well, I started with the Pumpkin Crème Brulee and ended with the Jamaican-Me-Crazy {An island blend of Kahlua®, caramel & vanilla}.  I’d describe the flavor as a hint of coconut blended with a nutty vanilla twist.  As I headed out I heard the staff’s excitement that this flavor was back, so of course I had to give it a try.  I’m still craving it!

Wow, this place looks GREAT! I can hardly wait for a time to get there!!! The coffee sounds good, but the food sounds even better. Can I sneak away from work for the rest of the day???
