One our missions at SEEK is to give local businesses a voice to share their products and services with the Triad. We were recently turned on to Stick and Stones Clay Oven Pizza, a restaurant that celebrates sustainability and organic operations by purchasing as many fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients they can get their hands on. Focusing on items produced and procured locally not only supports the local economy, it also creates a distinctive menu that changes according to seasonal availability.

Yum,Yum, Get Me Some!!!

Pizzas are baked in an oven that is solely wood-burning – no gas or electricity – with an average temperature of 700 degrees!

The pizza selections are loaded with fresh local ingredients. If you are a meat eater, you can feel safe knowing that SS uses only free range, organic meats. My personal favorite is the Mockingbirdsing, which is topped with Tomato Sauce, Wood Roasted All Natural Ashley Farms Chicken, Sauteed Fennel, Tomatoes, Spinach, Mozzarella, and Gorgonzola Cheese. Check out the menu on their website to read all the incredible combinations they have to offer!

Whatever you do, DO NOT leave without ordering the Goat Lady Chevre “Truffles” w/ Artisan Crackers! The cheese melts in your mouth. Each visit leaves me craving this even more!

Think Pink Wine

On a recent trip to SS we were treated to a sampling of the new wine they are offering. SS is the first restaurant in the Triad to feature a *NEW* line of wines, Think Wines. We think you’re going to love the *NEW* Think Wines too! What’s so cool and unique about this wine are their bottles, they are made of high quality aluminum, which means they cool 5 times faster than glass. The bottle is internally lined with a specially approved food grade coating. And, of course they are completely recyclable!

So, here is the part you don’t want to miss….and it involves a GIVE*A*WAY!

This Friday Night, October 9th, The Seekers will be hanging out at Sticks & Stones! We want you (and your family is welcome too!) to join us at Sticks & Stones! We’d like to meet you and say hi and thanks for ALL your support in our first month of going live! Not only do you have a chance to enjoy some of this incredible food and try the new wine, but someone will win this weeks GAW…a generous gift certificate provided by Neal, the owner, to one attendee! All you have to is show up sometime between 7:00-9:00 PM and your name will be entered in the drawing. We will be glad to spend it if you don’t show! So, don’t let this great opportunity get away! You are welcome to show up at the last minute, however, we would also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to know ahead of time if you plan on coming! So, please leave us a comment about SS, comment if you plan on attending, or e-mail us your RSVP as well! We love hearing from you and really want to meet our followers!
