We were curious about the name of the store, Orchard House and just had to ask Deborah. She tells of how her shop got its name, Deborah has always had a unique fondness for Louisa May Alcott’s book “Little Women”. ”Orchard House” was the name of the home in which Alcott lived and used for the setting of her famous book. Alcott’s home was surrounded by apple orchards, and she believed that every home should have an orchard. Orchard House Gifts is Deborah’s expression of her desire to share her love of home, decorating and gifts with you!
