Caramel Apple Pound Cake

Parker’s has always been a great place to get excellent quality home cooking for a reasonable fare. For a little over a year now, they have continued to add to their list specialty desserts and birthday cakes. They are trying to bring back some of the old fashioned favorites that you just can’t find anywhere else. Their mission is to provide top quality, freshly baked goods with beautiful presentation. In addition, they provide the community with an opportunity to “check us out” at our annual taste testing events for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.

Mini-Gingerbread Bundt Cakes

Cindy graciously hosted Trish and MJ to their own private appetizer and dessert tasting! Oh my! Among our favorites was the Gingerbread Mini Cakes drizzled in a lemon cream cheese glaze.  They are a melt in your mouth sensation and might just give you visions of sugar plums in your head! $11/dozen.

White Chocolate Candy Cane Cheesecake

For you cheesecake lovers we recommend the White Chocolate Candy Cane Cheesecake. Not too sweet, not too minty….it is just right! A smooth and creamy white chocolate cheesecake filled with peppermint flavor resting on a chocolate cookie crumb crust. Delightfully decorated with whipped topping and crushed candy canes. $35

3 Layer Black Forest Cake

Black Forest with a Cherry on Top!

The Black Forest Cake is uniquely different from most you will find. It is three light and fluffy devil’s food layers drenched in cherry flavor and filled with a layer of maraschino cherries and fluffy whipped topping. Ornately decorated with chocolate and cherries. $25

Chocolate Lover's Christmas Tree Cake

The Chocolate Lover’s Christmas Tree Cake is as tasty as it looks! It is filled with chocolate chips, chocolate chunks, and walnuts. The Christmas trees are covered with a scrumptious chocolate glaze and decorated for the holiday. The word “Chocolate Lover’s” is a sure fire description.$25

Catering by Parker’s is quickly growing under their roof. They are now offering catered appetizers for carryout. These tasty treats will meet all of your party needs, not just for this holiday and football season, but year round as well.

Stuffed Puppies

Stuffed Puppies…..Parker’s own hand-pulled barbecue nestled in our homemade hushpuppy. Add a splash of our Lexington style sauce for a hearty little treat. Doesn’t get much more southern than this combination!

Hot Spinach Dip with Toasted Baguettes

Hot Spinach Dip….. a luscious blend of bubbling hot, spinach, italian and parmesan cheeses topped with bacon; served with toasted baguettes.

Parker’s is preparing for the Holiday Season by hosting Parker’s Annual Christmas Appetizer and Dessert Taste Testing on Tuesday, December 8th.

Stop by between the hours of 10am until 2pm and then again that evening from 5pm until 8pm to sample their scrumptious appetizers and desserts available to you for your Christmas, New Year’s Eve and Super Bowl parties.
